Sorry

Sorry

“I love you.” – allot of people I know, feel, saying these three words is the toughest job in the world. I felt so too, but, the other day, I realized, there’s another sentence that’s even tougher to say – “I am sorry.” I was invited to a seminar by a friend last Tuesday. It was the last day of a four day seminar – the last day being a day, when the attendees of the … Read entire article »

Ek Titli

Ek Titli

I was sitting and having lunch with my friend Aditya the other day. The discussion was moving along in pretty much the usual direction, until I brought up the topic about the crazy flood situation in Delhi and Pakistan, which in turn led to the topic of climate change. Now, the shameless guy in me couldn’t help but bring my blog into the discussion and I started boasting about the article I had written on … Read entire article »

The treasure hunt

Share Life is like a game of treasure hunt we allhave played at some point of time or the other. The only difference is that wedon’t have the map, the clues are real hard to figure out and the treasure thatwe are looking for is left for us to figure out. Actually the clues are nevertoo hard to find, they are pretty much out there but we just fail to recognize theirexistence. The treasure is often (mis)interpreted to be various things – for someits loads of money, for some it’s a quiet and secure life and for some it’sjust having three meals a day. Whatever it may be, there is always one thingcommon in each of them – at the end of the day we all just want to be happy. … Read entire article »

The beginning or the end?

“So where do I start” – it’s one of themost common ways of starting a speech, especially when you don’t know how tostart one. I have always believed that beginning something is the toughest part. After all, the first impression is the last impression right? Even when itcomes to writing a post – till I don’t get a fabulous start to what i want towrite, I can’t go ahead with it, no matter how clear I am with the idea I havein mind. However, the last couple of days have pretty much changed thisperception. After a break of almost seven months, I hitgym again yesterday. The excitement of trying out the gym at our new colony wasenough to get me out of bed, and I headed for the gym without a second … Read entire article »

A life half lived

There was a little 6 year old kid called Jack. Jack loved science fiction and action movies. He would tie his towel around his neck and act like superman all day. He loved music and was a decent singer. When any of the adults in the family asked him what he would like to be when he grew up, he would say he wanted be join the army and gun down the enemies or go into space or become a singer. Life was a jolly ride for him; he was pampered to the core and got whatever he asked for. A few years passed by, he was now about to celebrate his 12th birthday. He started noticing that his parents had started becoming cautious with their daily spending, because they … Read entire article »

The Perfect Nobody

HiGuys, BeforeI go any further, I am not Tavish; I am a friend of his. He wanted me to writea guest post here. I told him I can’t write for nuts. But after a one hour longconversation this jackass convinced me to write this down. Sorry, I am a littleshy so I’ve requested Tavish to call me the perfect nobody instead of my realname.  There is a reason why I am callingmyself that.  You will know why later on inthe post. Iwas reading Tavish’s post for BAT7 titled “What if”. There was a line in thatpost which triggered the whole thought process. Tavish said he was born to acouple who went on to be the world’s most loving parents. Yeah right, as if myparents were the world’s worst parents! But yes, I … Read entire article »

The fear of loss

Before going forward, I just want you guys to ask yourself one question genuinely: “Do you really fear you may lose everything you have one day?” If the answer is YES, you can continue reading. If the answer is NO, you can read it anyways. This was a question I was forced to ask myself recently. I always felt I wasn’t scared of losing anything and I will get through anything come what may. But, when I had to genuinely answer this question to myself, the whole belief was shattered. That’s precisely the reason why I asked you to ask yourself this question before you start reading. I have been applying to universities abroad for my MBA for the past 2 months now. The other day, one of my friends asked me, “Although … Read entire article »
